bassist/arranger Big Jim Albrecht is known to
Indianapolis area musicians as the Manager
of The Fabulous Starletts and owner of DCR
Recording Studio. Big Jim has played for,
arranged for, or recorded with just about
every big name in, or coming through,
Indianapolis!
The driving force behind The Park Avenue
Band's exciting and entertaining sound,
Dan McCarty plays with fire and intensity!
From playing Disco, to playing today’s
Contemporary Christian Music, Dan lays
down the grooves that are sure to get you
dancing!
David Webb has been playing professionally
for over 20 years. In 2004 he was the music
director and keyboardist for “The Super
Seventies Spectacular” which included
Grammy nominated Maxine Nightingale, John
Ford Coley (of England Dan & John Ford
Coley), and the Bay City Rollers. He has also
played for other national acts including Al
Wilson and Rock n Roll Hall of Fame member
Charlie Thomas of the Drifters.
Dr. Jay Rifkind, a Greenwood area dentist,
has played in several area bands including his
own, Hocus Pocus and What’s Cookin?. Doc
rocks on the reeds and is the featured soloist
on many of The Park Avenue Band tunes!

An Indianapolis Fire Fighter, Dan Hauger
plays like he's on fire! Former lead trumpet
of The Indiana State Bands, Dan has
established himself as one of Indy’s top
trumpet players!
The Vocal Team
By happenstance they have the same common
interest, singing! But what they really have in
common is they both will thrill your audience
with their vocal skills!
Leta Thompson has years of experience
singing in Sequel, Left of Center, and many
other Indy bands! Covering the greats such
as Aretha, Whitney, Reba, or Shania, Leta will
WOW your event! When Jim & Tom heard her
sing, they hired her ASAP!!!!
Steven Hedrick is our male lead vocalist and
when asked, will strut his stuff! Steven has
vast Indiana music experience and has sung
with several other Indy area bands. Nobody,
NOBODY!, can get your crowd up and on the
dance floor, having a great time like Steven
can! Steven also sings and acts in Indy area
theater groups.

guitarist Jim Benge who won the
Marlboro Country Music Award with his
band, The Carlton Taylor Band. Jim
also performed with LedFoot Melvin and
RAZ.
Jim met Tom Ewigleben while playing in
RAZ and together they formed The Park
Avenue Band. Tom plays the trombone
and arranges the music for Park Avenue
and his own groups, 4Bones4Him, The
West Winds Big Band & The Jazz Torino.
Tom also plays in the Indianapolis
Brass Choir and plays regularly in

church groups.
